I get so worked up sometimes about even the smallest amount of money that I spend on seemingly frivolous things, like Starbucks. And then going for a coffee with a friend is not as enjoyable...and that's sad for me. I want to go and enjoy myself for the company and forget the money (as long as it is within reason) Personally it has gotten worse for me in the last few months because I am not working and the prospect of going into debt for school looms. I'm very afraid of debt, but I just need to remember that I am fairly responsible and that this is necessary for right now. I know I need to let go.
