He always has cash. Therefore, he usually ends up paying for dinner if we just grab something when we're out (there are a lot of cash-only places in Berkeley - which I know, yet I always forget to keep cash in my wallet). I used to try a "hidden 20" rule, where I would always have a $20 bill hiding somewhere in my wallet (aka not where I normally put the bills) for emergencies and the like, but I somehow always managed to "find" it when I didn't really need it. :-) I am the exact same way with cash…and The Boy is not. I used to keep a couple dollars in my car just in case...but as usual I'd spend them and not replace it. I realized a while back that I also spend a good majority of my money on food. In other words, most of my money literally goes straight down the toilet!! lol. (I ate at Wendy's on Sunday too! Except I wasn't treated. In fact, I did the treating. Hehe.)
