I got one through work. I really like it. I use gmail and there's a gmail client you can download. There's also a gtalk client and google maps. If you use google calendars, there's google sync that will sync those.

Brickbreaker is the best.

Watch out they are addictive. I was given one for my last job and I became obsessed with constantly checking my email and playing brickbreaker.

Mine was the absolute best purchase I ever made!!! I don't use the internet/email on it (which costs an extra $20-30 per month), but just having a calendar and a place for notes in my phone has revolutionized my life. You know how people will just off-hand mention in conversation their birthday? Boom. It's in my Blackberry calendar, so when it comes up next month or next year, I'll remember. I also keep my shopping list in my Blackberry, so if I'm out and about, I don't have to think, "Gee, I know I needed something..."

Anyway, enjoy! :)

Beware of the RIM service costs with your contract. As long as you don't want their real-time data pushing enabled you should be able to get a lot of other use out of this phone. Some cell service providers charge $40 or more a month to have their data synchronization service running.

Hope you love it, though!
