I was amazed at how grad school made my income go up.

Before grad school:

I agree with what you said here. My first job after my four year degree was complete was incredibly boring! I needed something else to do during the day. Studying worked! I have recently enrolled in two classes at the local community college just because I'm bored again with work. If I were ever in the position where I couldn't learn, I would go crazy.
